The teaser trailer for “Did You Kiss Anyone?”
“Did You Kiss Anyone?” is looking for brave volunteers to be extras in a racy, animal-costumed themed scene filming on October 16th (Sat) from 8pm-10pm. A party will most likely follow.
Q: What do I need to wear?
A: You must be willing to wear your swimsuit/underwear/cutoff jeans, etc, and an animal mask. Bring a robe or sweatshirt for when we’re not filming (so you won’t get cold).
Q: Do I need to bring my own costume?
A: We will provide plastic animal masks like the one in the photo above (which is from another scene in this movie). If you have an animal/mascot costume and want to wear it, please please please do.
Q: Can I use make-up to make myself look like a mythical animal beast from a fantasy novel?
A: If you can do the make-up yourself, yes please. The more bizarre the better. Just nothing that might infringe on a copyright (*cough* Avatar).
Q: What’s this scene all about and where will it take place?
A: It’s a party scene that will take place in a house in the SE Powell/70th area. You might be holding a can of beer or talking to someone else in a mask.
Q: Are you only looking for attractive young girls?
A: Absolutely not. We’re looking for people of all shapes and sizes. We need a good mix of men and women for the scene to work. So bring a friend.
Q: Is this a weird porno movie?
A: This is a weird scene in an otherwise PG-13-ish romantic-comedy type of movie. The last movie by the writer/director of this movie was about preschool enrollment. He’s a very trustworthy guy and also the one typing these words now.
Q: If I show up, you’re just going to ask me to get naked, right?
A: No.
Q: What if I get there and feel uncomfortable and want to leave?
A: We’ll do everything to make you feel at ease but leave whenever you want. We’re guessing you’ll have fun though.
Q: Why can’t you pay people to show up, or pay me for that matter?
A: This is a nano-budget feature, which means we don’t have any money to pay for anything aside from food and basic essentials.
Q: Will there be a keg of good beer, like Mirror Pond?
A: Yes!!!
Q: Is this going to be a lot of awesome fun?
A: Yes.
Q: Why should I do this?
A: You will be in a movie that is 95% complete and 100% awesome. You’ll be invited to the wrap party later this year and the Portland premiere (who knows when that will be but still…). This is your chance to get in your skivvies and an animal mask and be in a fun independent Portland film.
Q: How do I find out where it’s at and let you know I’ll be there or ask more questions?
A: You can either email frontave.casting@gmail.com or click “Attending” on our Facebook event.

We began production today on a new short movie called “Claire Rides a Bike.” It’s fitting that the first scene we shot was “Claire,” played by Evonne DeLaFuente, riding a bike.
The other member of the cast is Drew Hicks, who also writes and stars in “The Free Box.”
We hope to have the movie finished in time to submit to the “Filmed By Bike” festival.
